We’re not just improving healthcare in south-central Missouri—we’re redefining what rural care can be, with purpose, with heart and with you in mind. Phelps Health is owned by Phelps County but operates without tax support and is governed by a five-member elected board. The health system employs around 2,000 people, including more than 100 providers. With a hospital licensed for 240 patient beds, Phelps Health serves a six-county area through its main campus and several clinics in Rolla, with additional clinics in Salem, St. James, Vienna and Waynesville. Deeply invested in the communities it serves, the health system is a regional healthcare leader, caring for more than 200,000 residents.
